The Coriell Business Development team is pleased to offer an internship opportunity for current or recently graduated college students interested insales, business development, marketing, and CRM operationswithin a mission-driven scientific organization.
This internship provides hands-on exposure toinside sales, lead generation, CRM administration, and LinkedIn-based prospecting, supporting Coriell’s commercial and partnership growth initiatives. Interns will work closely with the Business Development team to support outreach efforts, data organization, and follow-up activities that directly contribute to revenue and relationship development.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Projects:
Inside Sales & Meeting Generation
- Conduct outbound cold calling and email outreach to prospective customers and partners to book introductory meetings
- Support meeting execution by coordinating schedules, confirming attendance, and documenting outcomes
CRM Administration & Data Clean-Up
- Maintain, audit, and clean CRM records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Update contact records, company data, deal stages, and activity logs
- Assist in organizing pipelines and reporting on outreach metrics
LinkedIn Prospecting & Content Support
- Identify and research potential leads using LinkedIn and other business intelligence tools
- Assist in drafting and scheduling LinkedIn content to support brand visibility and outreach
- Engage with relevant industry content and monitor engagement metrics
Cold Lead Follow-Up
- Perform structured follow-up with cold and warm leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Track responses, objections, and next steps within the CRM
- Help re-engage inactive leads and support lead-nurturing campaigns
Additional Business Development Support
- Assist with market research, account mapping, and lead qualification
- Prepare documentation, reports, and summaries for the Business Development team
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement ideas
- Create a final presentation summarizing internship contributions and outcomes
Desired Majors
Bachelor’s Degree (or actively pursuing) in one of the following disciplines:
- Business Administration
- Marketing
- Sales, Communications, or Economics
- Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Technology
- Other related business or commercial disciplines
Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled, or recently graduated (May 2025 – Present), from an institute of higher education, in one of the majors listed above, or similar disciplines,
- Must be a NJ resident or attend a NJ college/university
- Must be able to remain employed for a 10 week tenure, 15-20 hours per week.
- Must have reliable transportation to Camden, NJ, where Coriell is located.
