08/2016

Coriell Institute's president and CEO, Dr. Michael Christman, has been acknowledged for his business acumen and contributions to New Jersey industry.

The distinction comes as part of the 2016 installment of "South Jersey Biz" magazine's "Power 50," a roundup that recognizes a diverse field of leaders representing education, finance, government, law and technology sectors.

The publication cited Dr. Christman's success with the Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative (CPMC) research study, which has been awarded more than $15 million in federal grants and expanded to include upwards of 8,500 participants.

Also included in this year's class: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie; Joseph Devine, president and CEO of Kennedy Health; Adrienne Kirby, president and CEO of Cooper Health; Dana Redd, mayor of Camden City; and Steve Sweeney, president of the New Jersey Senate.
