Brief Description: This panel contains 5 micrograms of DNA from 92 unique and unrelated White individuals from the United States with symptomatic ischemic stroke. Of these, 58 are males and 34 are females, with age at onset ranging from 63-72 years. Clinical data collected on these subjects, including a medical history, consisted of the NINDS Repository CVD Clinical Data Elements: http://ccr.coriell.org/Sections/Collections/NINDS/ClinicalDataForms.aspx?PgId=148&coll=ND. Plate Layout: The specific position on the plates has been optimized to reduce any possible errors in sample identity during the genotyping process.
