The biopsy site is the mesial aspect of the mid-upper left arm, taken antemortem. The primary culture was initiated from explants of a 2 mm-punch biopsy. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The culture is a mosaic with karyotype: 46,XY/46,XY,t(6;16)(p13;p21); 96%/4% with 6% of the cells examined showing random chromosome loss/gain and 2% showing random chromosomal aberrations. The donor is the son of AG05807A, the grandson of AG04064, and the brother of AG05838B. A culture initiated from a biopsy taken 12 years earlier from this same donor is AG06962.
