Remarks The culture was initiated on 10/11/82 from an ante-mortem, surgical specimen obtained 4 hr earlier. Minced tissue explants were used for the primary. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The karyotype is 46,XY with 10% of the cells examined showing random chromosome loss, 2% showing random chromosomal aberrations, and 38% tetraploid or near tetraploid. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product.
