A roundup of top health professionals spotlighted Coriell Institute's Susan Delaney, director of government affairs and health policy.
Appearing in the April issue of South Jersey Biz magazine, an influential trade publication, the 2016 "Best of Health Care" list represents a segment of individuals distinguished for their contributions to the medical community.
Susan was selected as a leading health care advocate and was acknowledged for her efforts in advancing the adoption of clinical genomics.
Asked to expand on the most rewarding aspect of her position, she told the magazine: "We are seeing an inflection point in health care, where science and technology are intersecting with a host of important issues of access, cost and value. It is reward to play a role on behalf of Coriell in shaping these important issues."
The list includes several prominent medical advocates, including Dr. Generosa Grana, director of the MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper; Lori Herndon, president and CEO of Atlanticare Regional Medical Center; and Dr. David Condoluci, chief patient safety & quality officer for Kennedy University Hospital.
