Laboratory Manager
I started my career in 1993 as a lab technician and later as a Lab manager, where I gained comprehensive knowledge in molecular biology and genetics laboratory techniques. I organized and was responsible for supervising PREGER (Primate Embryo Gene Expression Resource) program for domestic and international research. I joined Dr. Issa’s lab in 2014 where I acquired expertise in laboratory techniques to study DNA methylation.
I joined Coriell in 2019 along with Dr. Issa’s lab and bring with me 20 years of experience as a Lab manager/technician and am currently in charge of maintaining COVID samples, performing DREAM (Digital Restriction Enzyme Analysis of Methylation) and RRBS (Reduced Representation Bisulfite Sequencing), and Cooper Blood samples.
