Senior Director, External Affairs
Courtney Mengel Dirks, JD, is the senior director of external affairs at Coriell. In this capacity, she works to elevate the Institution’s public image and its relationships with the public, especially elected officials, external stakeholders and community partners.
Prior to joining Coriell, Courtney spent eight years with Penn Medicine, an organization comprised of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and the Perelman School of Medicine, where she was promoted to the role of Director of Public Affairs and advocated on behalf of one of the nation's leading academic health centers.
Courtney received her undergraduate degree in political science from Dickinson College and earned her Juris Doctor degree – with a concentration in international law – from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland.
