Earl D. Coriell, MD

Earl Coriell, MD, is a physician and surgeon who established the Polson Family Medical Clinic and practiced there until his retirement in 2000.

Sharing his brother’s love for medicine, Dr. Coriell began his undergraduate work at the University of Montana, before joining the United States Navy V-12 program. He completed his studies at the University of Washington and earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas.

Following an internship in Seattle and two years as a Navy medical officer, Dr. Coriell moved to Polson, Montana, where in addition to running his busy medical practice, Dr. Coriell was mayor from 1960 to 1962. He also held leadership roles in the local Rotary and the Montana Heart Association.
