Charles N. Lord is president of the DHL Foundation and vice president of the RNR Foundation. Mr. Lord is retired from an award-winning career in news and television which began at The Detroit News. After several years at KYW-TV in Philadelphia, he moved to Television News Incorporated in Washington, DC, as a White House correspondent covering Watergate, the Nixon resignation, and the transition into the early Ford presidency.

Coupled with his broadcasting career, Mr. Lord has also had success as a spokesman, narrator, and actor in commercials and theatrical film. A businessman, Mr. Lord has owned and operated retail specialty stores in Washington, DC, Alexandria, VA, and Philadelphia, PA.

Mr. Lord graduated summa cum laude with a degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to serving on Coriell’s board, Mr. Lord has served on the board of the Screen Actors Guild of Philadelphia and on the steering committee of the Moorestown Friends School, New Jersey.
