Supporting Coriell Institute for Medical Research Print E-mail
Image Thank you for your interest in supporting Coriell for Medical Research (Coriell). Gifts to Coriell fund cutting-edge research at the interface between science and medicine such as the use of personal genomic information in medical care (personalized medicine) and adult stem cells in heart disease therapy. Every gift received is an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life!

How Your Contribution will Support Coriell
Private charitable giving is fundamental to Coriell's ability to allow its scientists to focus on what they do best - human genetic research. Since Coriell's inception, the generosity of those who believe in Coriell has supported its ambitious and important research. While the majority of Coriell's operating revenue is derived from federal and state contracts and grants, Coriell relies heavily upon philanthropy from individuals, foundations, and corporations to bridge the gap. When giving to Coriell, you are also helping to build a bridge between human genetic research in the laboratory to the improved practice of medicine in the clinic.

Unrestricted gifts support all of Coriell's ongoing research needs. Gifts may also be designated for specific purposes, such as:

  1. The Personalized Medicine Project - Using your personal genome to improve your medical care
  2. Adult Stem Cell Research
  3. Education, including Internships, Coriell Science Fair, Post-doctoral education, and Community Outreach
