Changes in 2010 Science Fairs

Consult the 2010 Rules downloadable above for a complete list of changes.
Form 4, Human Subjects is no longer used as an informed consent form. A model informed consent form has been included in the ISEF forms downloadable above.

A “Student Contact Information Sheet” has been added to the Coriell set of ISEF forms that must be sent with projects for pre-review. Projects will not be approved unless the student contact information is complete. Student contact information was not previously sent until registration, but additional time is needed for Coriell to prepare a database for DVSF, and the contact information will now be required upon submission of paperwork for pre-review.

Registration forms will be posted on this web site in February, and must be sent to Coriell. Be extremely careful to correctly enter the student’s project category and grade level on the registration form. “Teacher” errors for category and grade will not be corrected after Thursday, March 11 (the day before Fair Set up), and NO changes will be allowed after participants or teachers have entered the auditorium on Friday, March 12. “Coriell” errors requested on the day of fair set up will not be made unless a valid discrepancy is found between the category and grade assignment and the hard-copy registration.
